The finished product

The fan venting all in place. The name board and stars were carved by Paul Stevens who, some years ago, provided the scroll boards for the bow.

The outer structure of the new paddle box is complete with the decorative centre piece showing a carving of the eponymous castle and painted by volunteer Terry Harries.

Chris Smith welds the new steel cover into place with snow under foot.
